Hin —Your paper to-day contains a Press Agency telegram that tUo wreck of the Pelican lias been sold for £275 and that the vessel was insured lu the South British oUlco for £IOOO. Some one has blundered, for “Pelican’* read “Reliance, *’ Messrs. Oroenfleld and Stewart’s ketch, which went ashore at Mamilcau a fortnight ago, and was duly telegraphed.
