Mr. Alexander Saunders reports:—Buyers : Colonial Bank, 675: Bank of New Zealand, £2l ; National Bank, 80s; South British Insurance, 70s Standard, 2i»: New Zealand Insurance, 83s; National, 27s ; Shipping, 85s ; Auckland Gas, £lO 5s ; Alburnia, 455; Moanataiari, 565; Kurunui, l .'a ; Corby, 235, (per press aoencv.) TIMARU, Monday. Jonas, Hart, and Wilkie report that foe last week the market has been fully supplied with fat cattle, and their transactions show an average of fully 30s per 100 pounds. Very few store cattle are coming forward for ?ale, but those which have been disposed of realised fair market rates. A good number of milch cows were told during the week at prices ranging from £3 10 s to £l2 10s for cows In full milk and springing heifers. The demand for staunch draught horses continues. Good heavy horses fetched from £SO to £80; medium, £4O to £43; light do, £2C to £3B ; hacks and light harness horses, £S to £2B.
