The barque Edwin Bassett, for Newcastle, got away yesterday morning. The ship Medea broke bulk yesterday. She is expected to get quick despatch. She left Auckland at half-past 5 p.ra. on the Bth, and arrived at Tauranga at half-past 7 a.ra. on the Oth; sailed again at half-past 2 p.m., and made Gisborne at 9 o’clock on the 10th; left again at 6 p.m., and arrived off Napier at half-past 5 a.m. yesterday ; left at half-past 11a.m., and came Into our harbor as above. She sailed again for Southern ports at 4 o’clock with a large number of passengers. , , . , , The Kiwi, from the East Coast, arrived in barber this morning at half-past 1 o’clock.
