The Adelaide loan of £688,000 was floated at a mininum of 95. The corn market is unchanged.' The first innings of the Crewe Eighteen closed for 54. The bowling of the Australians was very effective—Spofforth took ten wickets for 13 runs ; Boyle nine wickets for 25 runs. The second innings of the Australians closed for 102. Second innings of Crewe, 78. The bowling of Spofforth and Boyle again was very effective. The Australians won by 100 runs.

Gibbon, surveyor for the Adelaide Underwriters’ Association, has left fer New Zealand, to ascertain whether it is possible to recover the railway plant from’the Hyderabad.
