Rotorua is duo here this morning, from the South. She leaves again for Sydney via Auckland, aud takes the outward Frisco'mail for transhipment to Auckland. A telegram from tho Agent-General announces the sailing of the N.Z.S. Co.’s ship Batata from Plymouth, with 23(3 immigrants, for Wellington. The Bakala left on the Ist instant. The s.s. Talaroa arrive I from the South at 7 yesterday morning. .She left Oamaru on Tuesday at 8 p.m., and ‘arrived at Lyttelton on Wednesday at noon; 'sailed at S’p.rn. Thursday, and arrived as above. She sailed again at I o’clock for Auckland, via the East Coast. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain Evans, left Fover'y Bay at 5 p.m. on 17th instant, and arrived at Napier at daylight next morning; took in passengers and cargo, and .left again at 12 o’clock sams day. Experienced SW. gale, with heavy head sea, and had to case engines to half speed, and arrived in Welington at 7 p.m. We thank Mr. Purser White for .‘report and files. Tho coasters Aspasin, for Wanganui, and Saucy Lass, for Pelorus Sound; both got away yesterday. Tho Kiwi and Rangatira both leafe to-night for Kapler and Castlepolnt.
