DELAYED TELEGRAMS.

The following regulations for the forward!;' of a cheap class of telegrams come*into fore * on J uly Ist; Telegrams received at any telegraph offi in the colony for transmission to their destination on the night of the day on which they areceived, or otherwise, as opportunity offer . and to be posted on the night of their arrival at such destination in the post office, if an;. where or nearest to the terminal telegrav station is situated, shall be called “ delayc telegrams.” All telegrams presented for transmission n • above must bear, under the head of “Tustrn tions,” in such telegram, the word “Delayer, which must be filled in by the sender at tl. of presentation, or otherwise such telegranwill be treated as ordinary telegrams, and t : rates on ordinary telegrams will be payable. Delayed telegrams shall be subject to b - the present rates on ordinary telegrams, viz.: For the first ten (10) words, exclusive of £ 8. address and signature up to ten words . - 0 0 For every.additional word r 0 0 .
