Everywhere the country is watered by ‘ running creeks and large rivers, perfectly fresh and navigable by large vessels for some distance* and is easily traversed. Constant steam communication is kept up between Port Darwin, India, Sydney, 1 Melbourne, and Adelaide, and the ovprland telegraph line passes through this country now offered. ‘ Independent of tho southern markets,' India alono and the islands would absorb an unlimited quantity of cattle, sheep; and horses, and tho facilities for shipment aro groat, as ■there would bo ’numerous" ports available at short distances. ■ Large numbers of sheep, cattle, and horses are - already on the way - to this district, and Mr. Travers has started from his Aramac Station 1000. head of cattle to commence stocking some of the blocks. \ This magnificent grazing country will be offered by auction in suitable blocks; but meantime application can be made to the auctioneers, who‘are prepared to treat privately, and will show plans and supply tho fullest information to intending purchasers.
