CRICKET.

DIXON’S EMPX.OTE3 AND DIXON FAMILT. The annual cricket match between the employes of Mr George Dixon and the Dixon family was played on the Basin Reserve yesterday afternoon. The day was all that could be desired, and those engaged in the game thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The match was a very onesided affair. The family put together the very respectable score of 128 in one innings, while their opponents could only manage to score 78 in the two innings, A number of the wives and families of those taking part in the game were on the ground, and took a lively interest in the match. Annexed are the scores:— zdwaed Dixon’s side.
