The following are the duties collected at the Customs on Thursday

Trade throughout tho whole of the past week has been duller than has been the case for some time past, and transactions have been entirely restricted to the supply of local .wants. Stocks of imported goods are heavier than desirable,, and as a consequence ■prices remain at a low rate/leaving hardly a margin of profit. The auction trade-sales that have been held have showed a marked langour and disinclination on the part of buyers to Invest at almost any figure that must bo exceedingly discouraging to importers.
