MESSRS. T. K. MACDONALD AND CO'S LAND SALE.
Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co’s exchange land mart was crowded to excess yesterday, on the occasion of the firm’s monthly land sale, which has now; become quite an institution on the first Monday in each month. There was keen competition for the allotments forming the subdivision of town sections 331 and 343, the result being that everyone of them was disposed of. The following lots were sold :

The Kaitoke and Kiwitea sections were withdrawn for special sale, there being no bids. The sale throughout was exceedingly successful, and the prices realised show that land in Wellington has by no means reached its maximum price, and there is yet room for fair and honest speculation.
