TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —I notice that a “valued correspondent” of the Qrey River Argus says in reference to Sir George Grey’s visit to Hokitika that the Premier may say “veni, vedi, (sic) vici mimes.” For the instruction of “ posterity,” and in order to establish the. correct quotation “ for all time,” may I be allowed to suggest that the correct reading should be “Veni, vidi, veudidi omnes.”—Free translation: “I have come, and seen, and sold the lot ” —I am, &0., OXON,
