WELLINGTON RACE MEETING.
The stewards of the Wellington Jockey Club met at the Empire Hotel last evening; Mr. George Hunter presiding. It was determined that the first race should take place punctually at half-past twelve, and that as nearly as practicable an interval of from half-an-hour to three-quarters of an hour should t ike place between eachT race. As the Hiuemoa is not likely to arrive so soon as was expected, his Excellency the Governor, who had signified his intention of being present, will be enabled to do’ so.
