TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —In the Coasters' ilace for the Cup, I was given to Understand there was no time allowed for tonnage. Mine being a post entry, and my not having had time to read the regulations, caused' me to enter my vessel on the ground of no tonnage being allowed. At the termination of the race, the gun being fired, I was led to believe I was the winner, which I find is not the case ; and I think I have not been very fairly used in the matter.
