The Council is desirous of securing the services of a thoroughly competent Chief Engineer for the city, who shall, in addition to the ordinary duties of that office, have the control of all the public works of the Corporation—Drainage, Waterworks, Wharf, &c. The Council invites application for the same. The salary is fixed at £BOO per annum. The person appointed will be expected to take office on the Ist day of March next.
