WANTED, after Christmas vacation, as First Classical Master, a gentleman of University (Home) distinction, of certified experience, and of unblemished reputation. His duties will primarily involve the Responsible Charge of the highest forms in Classics, French and "English Literature, but he will also be required to take some important highclass work in Mathematics. The general duties of supervision being shared in rotation by all resident masters, press very lightly on each. The stipend is £250 per annum, with board (in Hall), and two rooms, which are supplied with certain standing furniture. Masters are not entitled to reside during Long (Christmas) Vacations. Each master finds his own personal outfit. Candidates are invited to apply, sending copies of certificates, on or before December 31 next ensuing, when, if no eligible person can be obtained in the colonies, the mastership will he kept open pending reference to the Home Universities.
