NOPLB COMPLETED. London, October 26. Prince Leichtenberg has been killed in making a reconnaisauce on the Lorn, At the battle of Kaidikoi on Wednesday last 800 Russians were killed. Kars is being bombarded. The Russians have taken a redoubt. A portion of the town is in flames. The Czar is at Foredin. Physicians are alarmed at the state of his health. He was profoundly affected at the death of the Grand Duke Sergius. A Turkish loan of five millions -is announced in London. Negotiations between Austria and Germany for a treaty of commerce collapsed through Austrian Protectionist policy. War tariffs are probable. The fortifications of Constantinople are completed. AGENT-GENERAL’S TELEGRAM. London, (no date.) Gonrka has taken and fortified a strong Turkish position near Plevna, capturing Achmet Topai Pasha, together with the chief of the _ staff and many Turkish officers, three thousand soldiers and a whole regiment of cavalry, four guns aud other material. The Russian loss is great. Prince Sergius Maximilian was killed in a reconnaisance under the Czarewich. The bombardment of Plevna is proceeding. Affairs at Schipka Pass are unchanged. A large Russian force arrived at Khorazan, and compelled Mukhtar Pasha to change his headquarters from Savin to Koprikoi. At Erzerum the inhabitants were all called to arms in consequence of the Russian advance. Kars is bombarded, and a part of the town is in flames.
