[The following telegrams were published by the New Zealand Times as an extra yesterday evening]:— London, October 21. It was announced at Bucharest • that the Roumanian troops thrice attacked unsuccessfully the Gravitza redoubt at Plevna. A despatch from Osman Pasha states that the Russians attacked the Turkish forts to the right of Plevna on the I9th, and were repulsed with heavy loss. ■ An attack by Russians on the east of Plevna was also repulsed. ; A Turkish official despatch denies that Resohid Pasha in Asia Minor capitulated after the battle of the 15th. It , states that he, on the contrary, occupied a strong position at Hassantepe, with Mukhtar Pasha, near Aladgobok. The Russian artillery reserves have been called out. The Tanjore left Galle on the 19th. The money market is easier. The open market rate is three-quarters below the minimum. There has been a recovery in the stock market. Consols 96. Colonial securities have advanced. Wool is in good demand. Private sales of wheat are weak, and imports heavy. New Zealand, 555. to 565.
