CAMBRIDGE LOCAL EXAMINATIONS.
TO THE EDITOK OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sib, —-The omission of the word “ first ” from my letter will explain the apparent error I made. I thought “Inquirer” called in question the fair conduct of these examinations generally, and defended that which I superintended. Surely “ Inquirer ” will feel, after Mr. Gammell’s letter, that the examinations are above all suspicion.—l am, &c., C. C. N. Baebon. September 18. [Correspondence on this subject must now cease.—Ed. N. Z. Times.]
