NOMINATION OF CITY COUNCILLORS.
The Returning Officer, Mr. J. B. Wallace, yesterday received the nominations of the following candidates for seats in the City Council. There are twelve to be elected, three for each ward. The election will take place on _the 13 th inst.:—
Cook Ward.—Messrs. Baylies, Greenfield, George, Hunter, Miller, Moody, and Murphy. Te Aro.—Messrs. Dixon, Krull, : Logan, Macdonald, and Whiteford. Thorndon Ward. —Messrs. Allen, Cleland, Fisher, Gillon, Johns, Maginity, and Rainie. Lambton Ward.. —Messrs. Allan, Danks, Mills, and Moss.
