The p,s. Luna arrived in harbor yesterday at noon ’ from Greymonth, with a frill cargo of coal andpro--1 dace. She left Greymonth at 0 a.m. on Tuesday, and •experienced strong northerly gale with heavy sea, till rounding. Cape Farewell at 7 p.ml on'.Wednesday, when the wind moderated to a lightN.W. breeze, and continued till arrival,. 'The Luna sailed for Lyttelton at 5 o’clock last evening. , . , : ! Tile s.s. Tul sailed lor, Kaikoura and Lyttelton at 8 ** ’ o’clock last night, with a full cargo.. '. She is expected to ‘finish discharging this week, and will go hence to Newcastle to load for Hongkong, and from there she goes Home. : , As will be seen by onr telegrams elsewhere, the whaling brigantine Isabella, of this port, which has been out several months, has met with her accustomed; 111-luck. , The s.’s. St. Hilda, from the South, will arrive here to-day. The barque Primera,; the last of the wool vessels for the season in this port, is expected to finish loading during the present month. ' The New Zealand Shipping Company have her chartered. Good progress is being made with the discharging of the ship Taranaki. Her cargo, which consists ; principally of waterworks'plant, is, turning out in very creditable condition. She is expected to finish in another week. ; i Quick despatch has been accorded to the ship Glen-; lyon at this port She is tow ballasting, and has to put out only a few hundred tons cargo, principally . iron, which is expected to be landed this week!
