The Loan and Mercantile Agency report, under date J.ondon, August 15:—Wool sales opened at level prices of last series. The opening catalogue contained 5000 bales. 21,000 were sent to the manufacturing districts. Competition by both Horae and foreign buyers is active. Tallow market quiet—mutton, 435; beef, 41s. Wheat—Adelaide is worth C7s; Hew Zealand, 5Cs per 496ib. The harvest is deficient alike in quantity and quality. Leather trade, demand quiet; best sides, lOjd. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET.
