It is reported that Earl Beacons field (Disraeli) is anxious to resign the Premiership in consequence of ill health. The Russians who crossed the Danube at Sistova have occupied Plevna. In Asia the Russians have withdrawn their siege artillery, and have stopped bombarding Kars. Sydney, Tuesday. The Union Steamship Company have obtained the contract for conveying the Suez mails from Sydney to New Caledonia.
