[The following telegram was received at the New Zealand Tjmes Office at ilfty-flve minutes to three o’clock this morning.] Bombay, July 3, 12.35 p.m. The Turks have evacuated Montenegro. The order of the day issued in Prance by President Marshal MacMahon, in view of the political crisis', exhorts the army to defend the dearest interests of the country, and to aid him to fulfil his mission and maintain respect for its good government. Singapore, July 3, 11.33 p.m. The British squadron has left Greece under sealed orders. Unofficial Turkish accounts state that th e Russian advance guard has been driven back to Biela with heavy loss. Bombay, July 4th, 11.42 p.m. The Russians are flying to the south of Kars. A Russian official despatch states that the Turks were strongly reinforced from Batmn, and the Russians have been compelled to take up a position better calculated for defence. Kars has been almost relieved by the retreat of the Russians. Singapore, July 5, 11.58 a.m. The British squadron has gone to Besika Bay. The Turks return to Rustchuk. The Russian have reached Senovzy.
