Government Notices NEW ZEALAND COASTAL STEAM SERVICES. General Post Office, Wellington, 29th May, 1877. SEALED TENDERS will be received at the General Post Office, Wellington, until NOON of MONDAY, the 18th day of JUNE proximo, for the performance, during a period of twelve months, commencing from the second of July next, of any of the under-mentioned steam services, viz. : 1. Between Wellington, Kaikoura, and Lyttelton, and vice versa, fortnightly.^ 2. Between Nelson, Motueka, Collingwood, &c. The voyage between Nelson and Motneka, and vice versa, to be performed twice weekly. The voyage between Nelson and Collingwood, and vice versa, calling at Motnpipi and Takaka, to be performed once weekly. 3. Between Auckland, Kawan, Waiwera, and Matakana, and vice versa, once weekly. 4. Between Helenswille and Dargaville, and vice versa, calling at Tokatoka, Whakatara, Te Koparu, Aratapu, Mititai, and Mangawiiare, once weekly ; and also twice weekly. 5. Between Helensville and Matakohe, and vice versa, calling at Port Albert, Otamatea, and Pah), once weekly. Tenderers should state the names, tonnage, and horse-power of the vessels to be employed in the service or services for which they tender. Further particulars, and terms and conditions of contract, may be obtained on applying to the General Post Office, Wellington, or the Chief Post Offices at Dunedin, Christchurch, Nelson, Hokitika, and Auckland. Between Nelson, Westport, Greymoutb, and Hokitika, and vice versa, once every four weeks. 2. Between Port Chalmers and the West Coast ports of the Middle Island, monthly. A steamer to leave Port Chalmers once in every month, proceeding to the West Coast of the Middle Island, by way of Cook and Foveaux Straits, alternately. The steamer to call at Lyttelton, Picton, Nelson, Westport, Greymoutb, Hokitika, and the Bluff; and also when required, at Oamarn, Timaru, Martin’s Bay, Milford Sound, Preservation Inlet, and Port William in Stewart’s Island ; and at such other places as the Postmaster-General may from time to time direct. N EW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. CONTRACT FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND SUPPLY OF 50 SETS POINTS AND CROSSINGS. Public Works Office, Wellington, 18th May, 1877. WRITTEN TENDERS will he received at this office up to NOON on WEDNESDAY, the 13th JUNE, 1877, for the above contract. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Welliugtou, and marked outside “ Tender for the Manufacture and Supply of 50 sets Points and Crossings.” Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Dunedin and Wellington. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will he received it presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in duo form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer’s Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some bank in the town where the tender is lodged; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to he in favor of the Receiver-General’s Deposit Account only, and not to beareror order. Public Works Office, Wellington, 22nd May, 1877. WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on WEDNESDAY, the 20th JUNE, 1877, for the supply and delivery of 20,000 SLEEPERS, to be delivered at any of the Railway Stations or Sidings on the line between Wellington and the Upper Hutt, or within half-a-ehain of the centre line of railway along the Mungaroa Flat, for the Wellington-Mastevtori Railway. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside “Tender for Sleepers, Wcllington-Masterton Railway." Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Eoxton, Picton, Auckland, and Wellington. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in duo form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer’s Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some bank in the town where the tender is lodged ; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for one month-, and to be in favor of the Re-ceiver-General’s Deposit Account only, and not to bearer or order.
