Corporation Notices QITY OF WELLINGTON. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE A KATE. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in terms cf the Municipal Corporation Act, 1876, and the Rating Act, 1876, that the City Council having approved of an estimate of the income and expenditure of the Corporation for the period of one year, reckoning from the first day of April now current to the 31st day of March next, 1878, propose at the next ordinary meeting of the Council, on Thursday, the 26th instant, to make a general rate of One Shilling in the Pound on all rateable property within the city for the year, as above specified. And notice is hereby further given that the said estimate and the rate book are now open for inspection of ratepayers at the Council Office, and will continue to be so until 26th instant, when the rate will be made, and become due and payable immediately thereafter. ■ (Sd.)
