(HEUTUKS SPECIAL 'lO PRESS AGENCY.} London, April 11. Russia [desires Turkey to reply to the Protocol before the 13th instant. Sydney, Thursday. Further particulars about the wrecks on Lacepede Islands state that when the Aboyne struck, the captain's wife, Mrs. Swan, and two children were drowned in the cabin. The ship's carpenter and two boys were also drowned. About twenty minutes after strik. ing nothing of the ship was to be seen. The bodies of those drowned were washed ashore frightfully mutilated by sharks. Sailed : Hero, from Sydney ; Tararua, from Melbourne. The Australian Mutual Provident Society's annual report shows that the premiums received since last report amounted to £61,342. The accumulated fund now stands at £196,177, and the annual revenue is £461,185 (sic).
