Fine bright warm weather up to the 14th, when the barometer fell, wind S.W., and heavy rain during afternoon 100 in. recorded on 15th, the miximum for the month, barometer 29258 : on night of 16th dull and oppressive, with thunder, lightning, and rain. Squally weather generally during remainder of month, wind N.W. Strong gale during night of 16th ; last four days bright and pleasant, though fresh N.W. breeze.
