RIFLE SHOOTING.
..The return match between the Kaiwarra . and the. Wainuioraata Rifle Volunteers came off yesterday at the Kaiwarra rifle range. The -day was calm, but the sun was detrimental for . rifle shooting. The highest score of the two teams was made by Private S. Menzies of the Kaiwarra Rifle "Volunteers. He made 67 out of a possible 84. The following are the scores made. It will be seen that the Wainuiomatas 'are again victorious by 49 points :
Another match is on the tapis between the tv/o companies, to be fired in March or April.
