THE DRAINAGE QUESTION.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sib, —When are the citizens to be enlightened on the all important drainage question ? When are the Council going to undertake the formation of the streets of the city as originally surveyed by Captain Smith, R.A'., Surveyor-General to the New Zealand Company? It is high time that streets should be made that have been on the map (only) of the city for the last 36 years. When these street are formed, the city drained, and the. water supply made complete, then build a town:hall.—-I am, &c., Citizen.
