The facts alleged by uj in Saturday’s issue as to the Wellington College have remained unquestioned, and have received no answer. We may say that-when we wrote we did so with, a full knowledge and after a careful examination of the circumstances of the case, as is and has been our custom. Until some authoritative denial is given to our allegations, we have nothing further to remark upon the subject. But we are prepared to give date, sum, and circumstance for every allegation we have made.' On a former occasion an article on the same question produced a rapid reply from one presumed to write with authority. That reply traversed all our statements, and was again traversed by our article of Saturday. If our last utterances are to remain uncontradicted, we are quite content, as the public, in whose interests alone we have written, will be at liberty to judge between us and those who previously contradicted us. For the present, therefore, we have no more to say in the matter.
