The Governors of Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia were present. The following was the running ; The All-aged Stakes, a sweepstake of S sovs. each, with 100 added. Weight for age. One mile. J. Wilson’s b h Rapid Bay, 4yrs .. .. .. X H. Philips's b f Adelaide, Syrs 2 T. and A. Chirnside’s b b Sultan, 6yrs .. .. 3 Won easily by two lengths. Time, one minute forty-six seconds. Mares’ Produce Stakes, of 10 sovs. each, h.ft., for the nominators of produce, with 100 added. For three-year-olds, the produce of mares covered in 1572—colts, Sst, 101 b. ; fillies, Bst. 51b. The winner of the V.E.C. Derby, 1876, to carry 51b. extraThe second horse to receive 10 per cent., and the third 5 per cent, from the gross amount of the stake. One mile and a quarter. W.
