THE LATE COLONEL FADDY.

TO THE EDITOR OS' THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —Having observed a notice in your paper of the 7th concerning the late Colone Faddy, and having hoard something of his family, I think the matter should be further enquired into, and I should be glad if you could inform me, through the medium of your paper, whether application has been made to certain of his relatives, who, I believe, could amply reward Mrs. Palin for her kindness and trouble in keeping the two orphan boys as she has done, and perhaps could do something for them as well.—l am, &0., X.Y.Z.
