One hundred thousand people were present at the races to-day ; and the' hill, grand stand, lawn, and course presented a splendid spectacle. His Excellency Sir George Bowen, and the Governors of New South Wales and South' Australia, were present. The following events were decided:— MAIDEN PLATE.
