Clough and Co. report Now Zealand hides at 4d. to 4id. per lb. , • . . ... In a recent circular they also report that the shipments of wool from the Australian colonies for the year ending September 30 showed an Increase for the year of 40,853 bales : the actual shipments from October 1,1875, to October 1, 1876, being, from Victoria, 312,566 bales; from New South Wales, 133,494 bales: from Queensland, 33,408 bales : and from South Australia, 108,893 bales ; total, 588,366 bales. The returns from Western Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand have not yet reached us.
