WELLINGTON RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
The competition for the Wellington Rifle Association’s challenge cup took place at the Polhill’s Gully Rifle Range on Saturday-laatj at 1 o’clock. The day was very favorable for rifle shooting, and some good scores were made. There were* fifteen competitors. The cup having been won this time by Mr. C.'Bannister, Artillery, with the excellent score of, 55 out of a possible 60,, it becomes his absolute property, he having won it before at the sixth meeting of the’ association.
