The vessel seen bottom up off Aniuri is believed here to be the schooner Dagmar, which was last sighted off Oaraaru. AUCKLAND, Friday. The large schooner hottom upwards, reported off Amuri, is believed to be the Auckland schooner Clematis. All lives are supposed to be lost. Captain Clarke, Campbell (mate), four of the crew, and one passenger (Giles, a butcher), comprised the whole. . The Captain has a wife and four children, and Giles has a wife in Auckland. She is insured in the New Zealand office for £I2OO. The cargo is uninsured. She is owned by Cashmorc and Robinson. NELSON, Friday. Arrived : The Taranakl from Picton early. PORT CHALMERS, Friday. Arrived: The s.s. Zealandia from Lyttelton. She crossed the bar without accident at 1.45 this afternoon. LYTTELTON, Friday. Arrived : The barque Wanlock from Auckland. Blufi-.—29-82—E.3.E., light; drizzling. Barometer falling at all Btations. The p.s Luna came off the slip yesterday forenoon. She will leave for Cape Campbell and Lyttelton this evening. At the former place she lands stores, and at the latter she will transliip a quantity of Government property which has arrived at that port from England. It consists chiefly of railway waggons for Westport, whither the Luna will convey them. Thence she will return to this port. The p.s. Manawatu and the s.s. Stormbird sailed for Wanganui yesterday at 3 p.m. The former made fast to the ship Sarah Bell, bound to Newcastle, and towed her down to the fairway. The barque Stillman B. Allen sailed from Newcastle to Singapore with 703 tons coal on July 29. The s.s. Napier left Foxton at 9.30 a.m. on the 18th, and arrived here at 8.45 o'clock last night. Experienced fine weather, with light westerly wind. Tho Napier will be laid up on Monday for the purpose of receiving her new boiler and compound engines. Messrs. McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s steamer Alhambra, Captain Malcolm Muir, arrived here from Melbourne via the West Coast at 8.30 a.m. yes: terday. She left Sandridge railway pier at 2.15 p.m. on tho 10th, cleared the Heads at 5.30 p.m., and passed tho Sisters at 2 p.m. next day. Fino weather, with light airs and calms, characterised tho run to Holitlka, whjch port she reached at 10.20 p.m. on tho 16th ; left at 8.30 a.m. on the 16th, and arrived off ! Greymouth in two hours afterwards; sailed at 5 p.m. same day, and reached Nelson at 2 p.m. on the 17th.; left at 7 same night, and arrived here as afore«aid. The Alhambra will return to Melbourne by way of the South this afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Hawea, Captain Wheeler, arrived at the wharf, yesterday at 12.45 p.m. She left Onehunga at 4 p.m. on the 15th, and arrived at New Plymouth at 7.30 a.m. on tho 16th; leftat3 p.m., and arrived at Nelson at 6 a.m. on tho 17th; left at 430 p.m., and arrived at Picton at 4 yesterday morning; left at 8 ».m„ arriving here as above. The schooner Julius Vogel and Marmion sailed yesterday; the former for Pelorus Sound, and the latter for Kaipara. . . The ss. Tui left Foxton at 8 a.m. yesterday, crossed the bar at 9, and reached the wharf at 5 p.m. Had light N. W. winds on the run down. She will return to Foxton this evening. The schooner Aurora arrived here yesterday forenoon from the East Coast. Experienced very heavy southerly weather during the trip, and got her boat stove by a sea. The brigantine Sarah Pile is the next vessel of Messrs. \V. and G. Turnbull and Co. 's line of Wellington and Melbourne clipper sailing vessels to arrive here. She i 3 expected to leave Melbourne on the 20th inst.
