A NECESSARY CAUTION.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. S IKj —Without any wish to alarm the public," I think it right, on the information of Mr. Wilson, Head Master, to acquaint' the parents of boys attending the Wellington College that one of the pupils is now ill with typhoid fever, and is under treatment in the building. It is a well-known fact in medical practice that the infection of typhoid fever is propagated by emanations from the discharges from typhoid patients, and that it does not require persons to enter the room of the patient in order to contract the disease. a wooden building such as the College the danger of contracting infection from the discharges of typhoid patients is increased.—lam, &c, , - H.
