(REUIER'S SPECIAL TO PRESS AGENCY}. Sydney, Monday. There have been heavy rains and an easterly gale for the,past two days. A flood is threatening in the' northern district. The Hero's departure was postponed till this morning. Notwitnstanding two memorials, Boon, the murderer, is to be executed on Wednesday. The steamer City of Newcastle ran aground in the Hunter river yesterday. Two men while taking a line to the shore were drowned. Melbourne, Monday. Sailed: The Arawata for the Bluff.
