A CORRECTION.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sib, —The paragraph relating to the Thorndon baths which appeared in this morning's issue was somewhat in error. Thus, it states that two days in the week are set apart for ladies, whilst in fact the baths ivill be open for ladies several hours every day after 10 a.m., and on two days of - the iveek it is proposed to extend the ladies' hours by opening at 7.50 a.m., to meet the case of those who are engaged during the day. This arrangement will come into force as soon as the workmen are away from the buildings; but at present the baths, are only open to gentlemen. The defect mentioned in the latter part of the paragraph no longer exists, as the spaces between the palings have been filled up by battens, and perfect privacy secured. A platform also is to be added, to enable ladies and children to bathe at all states of the tide.—l am, &c., W Mowbbav, Hon. Sec. to Bath Company. Sydney-street, Dec. 15,
