This match was played at Karori on Saturday, and was decided on the first innings in favor of the Karori Cluh by 12 runs; The weather was very fine, but the ground was not so good as it might have been. JFor th e Vic. torians, Messrs. Danks, Lawrence, and' Lambert ; and for the Karori, Messrs. Glasson, Cole, and Donald did good service. The batting of Mr. Glasson, the bowling of Mr. Donald and the wicket keeping of Mr. P. Anderson is worthy of comment, considering the bad state of the ground.
