Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, as follows: For Picton, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Manukau, per s.s. Wellington, this day, at 1 p.m. For Napier and Poverty Bay, per ss. Rangatira, on Monday, at 4 p.m. For Kaikoura, per Ruby, this day, at 4 p.ra. For Blenheim, per s.s. Lyttelton, this day, at 1 p.m. For Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, per s.s. Taranaki, on Monday, at 3 p.m. Edward D. Butts, Chief Postmaster. Mails for Australian colonies, per s.s. Otago, close at Bluff at 11 a.m. on Monday, the 6th inst. ’Telegrams for Melbourne will be received at the Wellington Telegraph office up till 9 a.m. of the 6th inst.
