The following are the passengers per s.s. Hawea for Wellington: -Messrs. Nathan, Samuel, Williamson, Laird, Baynes, Mnrphey, Mrs, and Miss Furley. Mrs. and Miss Jennings, Misses Laird, and Thorpe (2). PORT CHALMERS, Friday. Sailed: Tanpo, s.s., for Northern ports. Passengers for Wellington: Mrs. Robertson, Messrs. Roy, Cruickshank, Campbell, Stackpool, Smithley, Hackworth, and Blair. The steamer Luna passed the Heads this afternoon, bound south. The ketch Falcon, Captain Fisk, left Blenheim on Thursday last, and arrived in port yesterday at noon. Had strong N.W. winds across. The s.s. Napier, Captain Butt, arrived alongside the wharf at 6 a.m, yesterday. She left Foxton at 6 o’clock the previous evening, and reports the cutter Nautilus ' having received little or no damage. Towed the ketch Reliance out. Experienced calm weather all the way. , , The s.s. Phcebe left the wharf at 2 p.m. yesterday for Picton, Nelson, Taranaki, and Manukau, —The s.s. Alhambra steamed away at 2.30 p.m. yesterday for Melbourne, via West Coast ports. The ship St Leonards, Captain Todd, arrived in harbor yesterday from London, after a passage of 98 days. She left Gravesend on the 6th August: had strong adverse winds to the 20th ; crossed the Line on the 13th September, in long. 19*5 W.; passed the meridian of the Cape on the 9th October; and sighted Cape Farewell on the 9th November. Had S.E. winds in the Strait. Spoke the ship Mataura in lat. 14*5 N., long. 26*45 W. All well on board; and brings as passengers 11 saloon, 6 in second cabin, and 23 steerage. The s.s. Manawatu, on her return trip, will be laid up for a month to receive new boilers per Heversham, and then go on Messrs. Coffey and Dixon's slip for cleaning and painting. The barque Harriet Armitage, Captain Mailler, hauled from the wharf yesterday morning, and sails for Kaipara this day. Pilot Simms has kindly informed us that the ship Kinfauns Castle and barque Jessica cleared the Heads on Thursday evening before dark.
