RIFLE MATCH.
The rifle match between the volunteer officers of Nelson and Wellington came off on Saturday, the ranges being 200, 400, and 500 yards, seven shots at each range. The following are the scores of the Wellington team : WELLINGTON.
Total 390 A telegram received on Saturday evening states the total score of the Nelson eight to be 474, thus Wellington is beaten by 84 points. At Nelson the weather was calm, while here, a perfect gale blew.
