The p.s. Lyttelton, Captain Scott, arrived from Kekeranga last night at 9.45. and anchored out in the stream. She brings a quantity of wool for transhipment into the Halcione. .- - The Colonial Government p.s. Luna. Captain Fairchild, armed at the Queen's wharf at 12.30 a.m. yesterday She left Wellington on the night of Friday, Ist instant "When she was half-way between liana Island and Terawiti, she encountered a heavy sea, and as she w is heavily laden and had two locomotives s:owed on her deck, the captain deemed it advisable to put hack again. He therefore did so, and anchored off the pilot station until the following Monday. On that day he made the Manawatu bar, but missing the tide he anchored off Kapiti. She is chartered by the New Zealand Shipping Company, and her agents are Messrs. Johnston and Co.' She left London on the 29th June, and brings a large cargo.
