Tuesday, October 5. (Before J. O. Crawford, Esq., R.M.) John Eearon, Christina Wilson, Frederick Slade, Harry Wilson, and John Watson were fined in various sums for drunkenness. Martin Nelson pleaded guilty of having on the previous day assaulted a constable in the execution of his duty, and was fined 405.; in default of payment he was sent to prison for seven days. Rowland Hara, charged with having assaulted Mr. Downes, of the Pier Hotel, was further

remanded.
