The steamer Omeo to-day took away 10,9590z5. 12dwts. 18grs of gold from Greymouth ; and Hokitika, In value, £BOOO. There is every prospect of gold shipments improving. The barque Malay was towed out of port yesterday morning by the Ladybird. When just past the Pinnacle a heavy sea carried away her hawser. The vessel then put back to Worser Bay. the gale and sea increasing so much that the captain had to seek shelter under Halswell Point.
