TENDERS will be received (either separately or for the whole) up to NOON of SATURDAY, the 1 Ith iust., for the supply and delivery of the following materials for the construction of groins:— 450 birch logs, 30ft. long, Sin. mean diameter 1000 cubic yards of boulders, not less than Sin. diameter 700 Manuka fascines, 12ft. long, Ift. Sin. in diameter. One-half to be delivered between Silver Stream and Lower Corge, the other half on river bank, Lower Hutt (not through tollgate). They must be addressed to the Hon. the Commissioner of Customs, Wellington, and marked outside, “ Tender for Lighthouse, &c., Cape Foulwind.” Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington, Nelson, Westport, and Hokitika.
