TO THE EDITOR OK THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES, Sir, —Permit me to correct an error in your report of the observations I made in proposing the health of his Excellency the Governor. I spoke of him as a high-minded and courteous gentleman, though, no doubt, I might have added “ virtuous ’* also, if such an expression were not an impertinence.—l am, &c., Wm. Tiios. Locke Travers.
