The Customs revenue collected at the port of Wellington yesterdny was as follows:
At Mr. E. levy's sale of groceries, &c, held yesterday, the bidding was spirited, and the following prices were realised:—Tea. In boxes, 19s. to 265.: half-chests do.. Is. 6d. to Is. 7d.; kerosene, Is. lid. to 2s. per gallon ; American wood-seated chairs, 455. to 545. per (loz.; iron bedsteads, 21s. to 455. A quantity of hardware fetched average prices. The material of the Koyal Hotel was sold at auction yesterday for £l. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, Monday. Mr. Alexander Saunders reports:—Sales: Tairua, 605.; Ajax, 60s. ; Colonial, 205.; Caledonian, 255. Buyers: Tairua, 605.; National Bank, 775.; National Insurance, 225. Sellers : South British, 48s. Cd.; City of London, 495.; Beach, 225. Cd.; Cure, 12s. WESTPORT, Monday. The cattle sales ex Wallabi averaged 465. per lOOlbs. Sheep averaged 235. Od. per head.
