The produce market has been moderately brisk, and oats have gone off freely at 3s. 7d. for parcels, the market just now being rather bare, owing to the absence of arrivals from the South. Flour continues steady at former quotations, and is still held for £ll 10s. to £l2 per ton for Canterbury and Oamaru mills. Milling wheat has been sold at 4s. fld. per bushel, and meets with inquiry. Maize, 6s. per bushel. Pollard and bran, scarce and much wanted, there being none in stock. Keg batters remains at Is. 2d. per lb. for prime cure, with little demand. Cheese scarce at lid per lb.
